Paying for sessions here
OHIP does not pay for psychotherapy in private practice. Most extended health plans through work do, and we direct bill many insurers; otherwise you receive a receipt after every session to submit yourself.
What is different from here.
Ontario is home. You can mix formats: start online and move to our Thornhill office, or see your clinician in person when you are nearby and by video when you are not. Toronto-area clients often choose evening video sessions to skip the drive on Centre Street.

Can I switch between online sessions and the Thornhill office?
Yes. Most of our clinicians work both ways, and the same person sees you in either format. Tell your therapist what you prefer week to week; nothing needs to be rebooked.
Does OHIP cover any of this?
No. Psychotherapy with a Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker in private practice is not an OHIP service. Extended health benefits usually cover it, and the free consultation is a good place to ask how much your plan allows.
Are your therapists licensed to work with Ontario clients?
Yes. Every clinician is registered in Ontario with the CRPO (Registered Psychotherapists) or OCSWSSW (Registered Social Workers).
